Ramadan
As one of the holiest months in the Islamic calendar, Ramadan is a time for increased worship, reflection and acts of charity and kindness. It is also a time of love and community, with many Muslims frequenting their local mosques and breaking fast with family and friends.
Since our inception, the EnviroMuslims team has worked to release exciting initiatives and educational resources throughout the month of Ramadan. From our Eco Ramadan Challenge to increasing knowledge around the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, we have used the month to encourage Muslim community members to not only reflect on their relationship with the Creator, but also work to improve and reflect on their relationship with the natural environment, the Creation.
